💼 The Role:

We have a new role to join our new People Team!

We’re looking for a People Operations Manager who blends operational excellence with curiosity, systems-thinking, and a passion for people experience.

This isn’t a traditional HR role, it’s a design, automation, and transformation role.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, as part of a small People Function that is establishing itself, you’ll be hands-on in execution while helping to shape the future of how we work and grow globally. We’re a complex team with circa 50 People UK based (mostly in London) and then a mix of circa 120 EoRs, CoRs and Contractors globally, with people in about 15 different countries. We’re also expanding our product to the US in 2026. There’s lots happening!

⚙️ What you’ll do

No day is ever the same. Given you’ll be coming from a similar environment, in a global high growth series A startup, you’ll know that adaptability is key. However your main responsibilities will include:

  • Own and optimise the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a world-class experience that reflects our values at every step.

  • Automate and streamline people processes using modern HR tools, data, and AI-driven insights.

  • Champion our HRIS & ATS systems maintain data accuracy, integrations, and reporting to power better decision-making - we’re using Deel & Ashby.

  • Design people experiences as products thinking in terms of end users, touchpoints, and outcomes.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Leadership to ensure scalability, compliance, and clarity as we grow globally.

  • Support and in some instances own, transformation projects org design changes, leadership enablement, and new process rollouts.

  • Analyse and report on key people metrics (e.g., engagement, retention, hiring efficiency) to drive continuous improvement.

🔩 Details:

  • Location: Chancery Lane (3-4 days per week)

  • Reporting to: Chief of Staff

  • Salary: £45-£60k pa
