The Operations Manager will direct the strategic initiatives and objectives of the hotel, as well as managing day to day operations through the engagement of the team. All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel-specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel. You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness. As an Operations Manager, you’ll keep the hotel running like clockwork and lead your team to ensure our guests have an incredible experience with us. Take a deep breath because you’ll be stepping into a busy role! You’ll be working alongside the General Manager to oversee operations, ensure every stay is extra special and inspire a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations. We’re looking for someone with key people skills, who is great at getting the best out of their team by giving them that get-up-and-go!   As an Operations Manager, you will: • Undertake Duty Manager shifts as required to support the team • Work alongside the General Manager to devise new ways of moving the Leonardo Hotels brand forward in your hotel • Support with the delivery of new starter induction and “Guest Care” training, ensuring all team members are offering great hospitality to our brand standards • Actively monitor recruitment requirements in your hotel to support the operation (and your current team!) • Have good knowledge of the local area to drive business opportunities for your hotel • Collaborate with your local HR team to host engaging activities for your team Some of the perks our Operations Manager could enjoy include:
