As the Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland, specialised in AI and Digital Solutions within GEA’s Farm Technologies Division, you will lead the regional marketing strategy for two of GEA’s important markets while driving the communication and adoption of our digital and AI-enabled farming solutions. Your primary responsibility is to strengthen GEA’s brand presence and customer engagement in the UK and Ireland farming sectors. You will plan, coordinate, and execute regional marketing activities, ensure strong dealer and customer communication, and adapt global initiatives to local needs.
In addition, you will be responsible for marketing GEA’s digital and AI-driven solutions, turning complex technology into clear, engaging messages for farmers and dealers. Partnering with global product and marketing teams, you will support the go-to-market strategy for digital innovations and help drive adoption across both countries.
This combined role requires strong regional market expertise, stakeholder management skills, and a deep affinity for digital transformation in agriculture.

Responsibilities / Tasks

Country Marketing UK & Ireland

  • Lead the local marketing strategy for the UK and Ireland in alignment with the global divisional framework.

  • Adapt global initiatives into effective regional programs tailored to UK/Ireland farming needs.

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate regional marketing activities such as:

    • social media campaigns

    • dealer and customer events

    • open days and agricultural shows

    • PR activities with local and regional press

  • Build strong relationships with dealers, farmers, distributors, and press contacts to ensure relevant and impactful marketing activities.

  • Develop and maintain a regional marketing calendar, budget, KPIs, and reporting.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour in both the UK and Ireland.

  • Ensure smooth internal communication between the division, the UK/Ireland market, and global teams.

  • Drive digital and performance marketing to support market growth, including social media, email marketing, content development, and analytics.

AI & Digital Solutions Marketing

  • Co-Develop and implement marketing strategies for GEA’s digital and AI-based products and services.

  • Define clear positioning and messaging for digital solutions in close collaboration with global Digital Solutions Marketing, product managers, and technical teams.

  • Translate complex software and digital technologies into customer-centric, engaging communication for farmers and dealers.

  • Partner with UX/UI and Customer Experience teams to ensure consistent, user-focused storytelling across digital touchpoints.

  • Create digital campaigns and marketing materials to increase visibility and adoption of digital solutions.

  • Collect customer insights and feedback to improve communication strategies and digital product storytelling.

  • Support global go-to-market planning and facilitate successful introduction of digital innovations into the UK and Ireland markets.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, Communications, Digital Media, Technology or a related field.

  • Marketing experience in the UK/Ireland market

  • Ideally experience within the farming, agriculture, ag-tech or equipment sector.

  • Strong ability to understand and communicate with farmers, dealers, and agricultural stakeholders.

  • Affinity for digital technologies, AI-based solutions, software communication and performance marketing.

  • Ability to translate complex digital features into clear customer value.

  • Strong communication skills for external and internal stakeholders, including press relations and events.

  • Experience with UX/UI, customer journeys, or digital experience design is a plus.

  • Excellent stakeholder management across global teams, dealers, and customers.

  • Strategic and creative thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
