Manage communications and content strategies for PPRO, driving brand growth through PR, social media, and internal influencer programs, while overseeing content creation and brand messaging.
At PPRO, our mission is to simplify access to local payment methods and our vision is to enable the sale of goods and services to anyone in the world using their preferred way to pay. We empower partners such as Ant Group, PayPal and Stripe to access new markets, connect with more customers, and accelerate their growth.
Our strength lies in our diverse global team with 50+ nationalities and 10+ international locations- all united around one goal – to deliver the best possible products and services to our partners and customers. While our company mission is to keep innovating global commerce, our internal mission is to #chooseaction, #beopen, #thinkcustomer, #gofurther and #wintogether
The Purpose:
You’ll be joining the PPRO Marketing team who is responsible for building our product and brand presence as a market leader in local payments. As a global role, you’ll be working with stakeholders across our business to grow and optimise our communications and content channels to help drive business growth by building brand recognition and reputation, and by creating product demand.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the execution of all content across our key communications channels including PR, social, video, our blog, and website. You build a content plan that supports our OKRs and campaign objectives across these channels
- Oversee all written content including reports, white papers, etc. with the input of our comms agency
- Manage our PR agency and build a proactive and reactive PR roadmap with them
- Help to shape our brand tone of voice and support the implementation across all written marketing communication
- Drive our internal influencer programme - PPRO Voices - and oversee content creation and briefings for keynotes, speaking gigs, and help raise the profile of our internal experts
- Ad hoc proofreading and copywriting to support the wider team across website and email
What would make you a great fit
- 4+ years experience in B2B marketing with the majority of that in a communications and/or content focussed role; experience in fintech is great, payments even better
- Great communicator with the ability to create compelling narratives for diverse audiences, distilling complex technical propositions into clear messaging
- Experience working in enterprise B2B where content has to play a role in the top, middle and bottom of the sales funnel, and comms channels help drive short term as well as long term value
- Commercially driven marketer who knows how to translate business goals into communication strategies
- You’re comfortable working in a dynamic environment, juggling multiple priorities.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene
If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
