The Role

You will be joining at an exciting time, as the Tessian Business Unit at Proofpoint has just released our Core Email Protection API product helping to protect every business’s mission by securing the human layer. We are building intelligent security that works for human beings as they are, not how security policies would like them to be.

The Tessian Core Email Protection platform helps enterprises defend against email attacks, protect against data loss, and respond to security incidents more efficiently. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join and manage one of the key teams behind the Core Email Protection API product, protecting our customers from the full spectrum of inbound email attacks.

- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of Software Engineers.

- Support your team’s personal growth and help them to achieve their career goals.

- Use technical project management skills to take projects from idea to completion with a team.

- Be responsible for delivery accountability and stakeholder management.

What you bring to the team

- Has experience working as an Engineering Manager or looking to transition from a senior engineering role.

- Is excited to mentor, coach and grow teams and engineers.

- Is a great problem solver, who takes pride in their work.

- Values getting things done over getting things perfect

- Is comfortable with the unknown and loves to experiment.

- Can construct good arguments for methodologies and practices.
