Are you an organised and proactive logistics professional with a passion for keeping supply chains running efficiently? We're looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Corby, playing a key role in coordinating inbound and outbound logistics operations and ensuring the seamless movement of goods across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across inventory management, warehousing, transportation and purchasing to deliver operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure the timely movement of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels to maintain an efficient and reliable supply of products and materials.
  • Oversee warehousing and transportation processes to support operational requirements.
  • Control the end-to-end flow of goods, including receiving, storage, location management and dispatch.
  • Support sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure the availability of raw materials, component parts and finished goods.
  • Monitor and optimise inventory levels to balance customer demand with operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to improve logistics performance and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs and enhance service levels.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Transport manager CPC qualification
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations or inventory management.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating transportation and inventory control activities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using ERP or warehouse management systems being advantageous.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
