Summary

We're looking for a senior programme leader to drive large-scale transformation across M&S Financial Services and Payments. You'll be responsible for shaping programme strategy and delivering new financial services propositions, capabilities and partner integrations, working across business, technology and external organisations. This is a high-profile leadership role that combines programme delivery, commercial management and stakeholder influence to deliver customer,  business and regulatory outcomes within a regulated financial services environment.

 

What you’ll do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of major Financial Services and Payments transformation programmes, from strategy through to implementation.

  • Drive complex cross-functional workstreams across proposition, technology, operations, commercial teams and external partners.

  • Shape and launch new financial services propositions and capabilities, ensuring customer, commercial and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, suppliers and partners, providing clear direction, insight and strategic recommendations.

  • Own programme governance, financial performance, risk management and benefits delivery to ensure successful business outcomes.

 

Who you are

  • An experienced programme leader with a proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes within Financial Services.

  • Deeply knowledgeable in consumer credit, lending, payments, credit cards, BNPL or embedded finance propositions.

  • Commercially minded, with experience managing complex supplier relationships, business cases and investment decisions.

  • Confident engaging at Director and Executive level, with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.

  • Skilled at leading change in regulated environments, balancing delivery, governance, risk and customer outcomes.
