The Team
The Key Account Manager will be an integral part of the national KAM team, developing and managing an assigned territory (Campania, Basilicata, Molise, Puglia). The role is responsible for executing the strategy in the assigned accounts, engaging external stakeholders effectively and in compliance with the Farmindustria code, and acting in accordance with the defined strategic plans to expand and ensure access to Mundipharma products throughout the assigned territory.
Role and Responsibilities
Provides accurate information on drug characteristics, side effects, and interactions to physicians and pharmacists, based on the scientific evidence from clinical studies reported in the product datasheet.
Promotes a culture of medicine based on ethics and transparency, guiding physicians' treatment decisions to protect patients.
Reports adverse events or other information regarding product safety/quality of which they become aware of to the appropriate corporate bodies.
Provides input for designing account plans in the assigned territory, incorporating knowledge of key market trends and collaborating with internal teams to develop specific strategies.
Conducts all activities in compliance with company policies and guidelines and applicable pharmaceutical industry legislation (Code of Good Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry - Farmindustria).
Monitors the performance and activities of competitors in the assigned territory.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation of their activities, reporting in the CRM tool.
Responsible for mapping and identifying strategic key accounts for new products in the portfolio.
What you’ll bring
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager.
Proven track record of successful sales.
Experience in the anti-infectives, fungi, HIV, Infectious Disease or similar therapeutic areas.
Previous experience using CRM reporting software.
Sales experience in the life sciences sector.
Ability to adapt quickly to market and environmental changes.
Strong effective communication skills and verbal command of complex medical terminology related to disease states.
