The International Tax Manager will oversee indirect and corporate tax filings, manage compliance and audits, and provide tax-related operational support while ensuring alignment with global regulations.
We believe it takes great people to create a great product. That’s why our team lives our company values, and we hire based on them, too. Since 2010, Pipedrive has been on a mission to support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, our cloud-based software is trusted by over 100,000 companies and used in 179 countries. We have grown from a five-person team to a truly international company of over 850+ people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US. In 2020, Pipedrive received a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners, a global investment firm that invests exclusively in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses, making Pipedrive the fifth unicorn from Estonia.
We’re looking for an International Tax Manager to take operational responsibility for indirect, corporate, and employment taxes across multiple countries at Pipedrive. This hands-on role includes completing and filing tax returns, managing outsourced returns in select jurisdictions, and supporting internal teams with customer tax queries, such as VAT charges or residency certificates for Double Tax Treaty relief.
Reporting to the Head of Global Tax, you’ll monitor global tax rule changes, ensure compliance, and consider new registration requirements. You’ll collaborate with external advisors and cross-functional teams, making this role ideal for someone highly organised, autonomous, and experienced in international tax, particularly indirect tax.
Your new adventure:
- Oversee international indirect tax filings for Pipedrive Estonia and Pipedrive U.S., ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Manage all UK tax matters, including compliance, audits, and advisory work related to VAT, employment tax returns, IR35 assessments, corporate tax filings, payment on account calculations, and preparation of corporate tax provisions for financial statements
- Oversee Irish tax obligations, including VIES, Form 46G, VAT, and RTD returns, share option reporting, corporate tax filings, payment on account calculations, and preparation of corporate tax provisions for financial statements
- Collaborate closely with the Treasury team to ensure all necessary details are provided in a timely manner for accurate and on-time tax payments
- Coordinate and manage the outsourced corporate tax filing process for Pipedrive Germany and Pipedrive Czech Republic
- Monitor global tax developments to manage risk and ensure timely VAT / DST / SEP registrations where legally required
- Provide tax input and support on business projects, ensuring alignment with local and international tax requirements
- Offer operational support to customer-facing teams by addressing tax-related queries as they arise
- Review and authorise invoices from external tax advisors, including identifying and escalating fees exceeding agreed limits
Does this sound like you?
- 7+ years of global tax experience, preferably gained through a combination of practice and in-house roles within the services sector, with hands-on exposure to a broad range of taxes
- Proven ability to navigate international tax authority filing portals with confidence and efficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical and organisational skills; able to manage a busy filing calendar and effectively prioritise competing demands
- Capable of working independently, demonstrating initiative and ownership in managing personal workload and meeting deadlines
- Strong communicator, with the ability to explain complex tax requirements clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels across the business, as well as to external advisors
- Professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) is preferred

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene
If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
