International Tax Accountant

The International Tax Accountant will support the International Tax Manager and Global Tax team in maintaining international compliance across all tax heads.

What you will do:

• Preparation and filing of local and international VAT/GST returns in a timely manner.

• Preparation and recording of monthly transfer pricing calculations.

• Supporting the monthly close process through preparation of general ledger reconciliations related to international tax accounts.

• Supporting the quarterly tax provision process for local and foreign operations.

• Supporting the US tax team on cross-border compliance and reporting matters, as required.

• Preparation and assistance with the review of international corporate income tax returns, including co-ordination with external advisors.

• Assistance with the calculation and co-ordination of advance corporate income tax payments across jurisdictions.

• Collaboration with cross-functional departments, including Accounting, Treasury and Legal, to support global tax compliance and reporting.

• Supporting audit requests and provision of documentation for internal and external audits.

• Assistance with implementation and documentation of international tax processes and the establishment of new tax procedures for foreign operations.

• Involvement with ad-hoc project work, as required.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• A relevant tax or accountancy qualification (e.g. ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA) or strong experience in a similar role.

• 3-5 years tax experience, preferably in a public/multinational organization or a role with indirect tax exposure.

• Detail orientated, ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a team environment across jurisdictions in a fast-paced environment.
