Job Description:

Job Summary
This position provides customized solutions for UPS customers to enhance their transportation systems and generate non-package revenues for Small Package, Freight, and SCS. He/She analyzes customer requirements and information to determine solutions that will assist in delivering products to their customers more efficiently and develops project scopes to effectively deliver customer solutions. This position supports Solutions Engagement Resources (SERs) to help grow the customer solutions business and keeps up-to-date on industry trends and technology developments.
Responsibilities:

  • Completes specific programming activities (e.g., SQL SSIS and BizTalk integrations, C# Windows Services, etc.) to deliver both routine and custom programs for supporting business functions.
  • Provides testing for both routine and custom functionality to complete and deliver assignments.
  • Seeks clarification on issues and approvals for assignments’ modifications to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Obtains feedback from customers to ensure solutions meet their needs.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to increase Customer Solutions knowledge and understanding.
  • Keeps Customer Solutions project stakeholders informed of project progress.
  • Analyzes data and interprets the results to make recommendations for solutions and evaluates solutions prior to implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Visual Studio and BizTalk products or an equivalent software
  • Experience in MS SQL 2016 database development and analysis
  • Experience in data manipulation and transformation
