Purpose of the Job

Are you passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences through efficient, people-focused HR services? We're looking for an HR Operations Manager to help shape and evolve HR Operations across Ocorian's global business.

Leading a high-performing team, you'll play a key role in delivering seamless HR support, driving process improvements and enhancing the experience of employees, managers and HR colleagues alike. Working across the business, you'll identify smarter ways of working, leverage data and technology to improve service delivery, and help ensure HR Operations remains scalable and fit for the future.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a HR Operations team, ensuring colleagues across the business receive a seamless, efficient and employee-focused service throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement across HR Operations, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve consistency and enhance the experience for employees, managers and HR teams.
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex operational matters, using sound judgement and a solution-focused approach to resolve issues and maintain service excellence.
  • Partner with stakeholders across HR and the wider business to deliver joined-up, effective people processes and contribute to positive employee outcomes.
  • Play a leading role in the ongoing development of HR systems, data and reporting capabilities, ensuring services remain efficient, scalable and fit for the future.
  • Use operational insights, service metrics and stakeholder feedback to identify trends, measure performance and drive meaningful improvements across HR Operations.
  • Contribute to HR and business-wide projects, bringing operational expertise, structure and momentum to initiatives that enhance how HR services are delivered globally.                

 

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • CIPD membership or working towards qualification is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • At least 5 years' experience in HR Operations or HR Service Delivery, ideally within a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment.
  • Previous experience leading, managing or developing HR Operations or shared service teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and employee lifecycle processes, with the ability to use technology and data to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
  • A process improvement mindset, with experience identifying inefficiencies, simplifying workflows and embedding sustainable operational improvements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, data integrity and operational excellence.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership, overcome challenges and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across teams and jurisdictions.
