Most client support is delivered via email, telephone, and virtual meetings, with occasional travel to client sites where required.

What You'll Be Doing

As an HR Consultant, you'll work with clients and senior colleagues to deliver practical, compliant, and commercially focused HR solutions, including:

  • Providing HR advice and guidance to organisations operating internationally.

  • Researching and preparing country-specific employment law and HR practice overviews.

  • Supporting the preparation of employment contracts, offer letters, policies, handbooks, and other HR documentation.

  • Reviewing and updating client HR policies and procedures.

  • Responding to ad hoc HR queries across a variety of topics.

  • Assisting with complex employee relations matters including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes, and terminations.

  • Supporting international projects relating to organisational change, restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.

  • Helping clients design and implement HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding programmes.

  • Learning how to develop and manage consultancy project plans alongside senior team members.

  • Maintaining accurate records of client activity and time spent using CRM systems.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is curious, collaborative, and eager to develop their career within an international HR consultancy environment.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an HR role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Ability to research information, analyse findings, and provide clear recommendations.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Ability to build credibility and develop positive client relationships.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Impact: Your work will influence millions globally.

  • Growth: Continuous learning and career development opportunities.

  • Belonging: A culture that celebrates diversity and empowers every individual.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
