Overview of the role:
This role will be part of the PokerStars SEU leadership team reporting to the PokerStars SEU Leader. This is a pivotal role in our long-term ambition to build the SEU’s premium gaming brand. As Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for building and leading our newly established Casino team for the SEU region. Long term planning and flawless execution will be critical in you and your team’s objective, which is to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.
The Southern Europe region (Spain, Portugal, France) is a very strategic one for PokerStars, building on more than 20 years experience in the Market to broaden the brand’s appeal beyond Poker into the fast growing Casino sector. With a strong position in Spain and Portugal already, we will be looking to plot an accelerated growth plan for these markets as well as be ready to act if France should decide to regulate Casino.
This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.
Our office is in the heart of Saint Julian's business hub, housed on the 2nd floor of the eco-friendly Spinola Park building. Enjoy beach views from green terraces, relax in our games room with a pool table and ping pong, and savour complimentary snacks, drinks, and fruits.
What you’ll do:

Work closely with the SEU MD and become a key member of SEU Commercial Leadership Team

Develop an effective Commercial Marketing strategy aligned to our goals for the region and focused on enhancing our customers casino experience.

Outline the plan and key initiatives for delivering the strategy

Build and manage a team and a way of working SEU to ensure we can deliver the Casino plan

Drive short term performance metrics through plan execution and building a test & learn mindset across the team

Build dynamic and collaborative relationships across the Leadership team and the wider PokerStars organisation

Work closely with Data Science & BI to ensure modelling and analysis align to our strategy.

Management of direct reports across multiple Commercial Marketing fields.

Own the ‘Casino Commercial Marketing story’ by developing a clear narrative that links performance to strategy and communicate.

Knowledge of Spain, France or Portugal Markets a plus.
