We are seeking a Graduate Full Stack .NET Developer who is passionate about software development and possesses a solid foundation in C#/.NET. In this role, you'll join our collaborative development team, where you will have the opportunity to rapidly learn our codebase and contribute to building innovative solutions within a dynamic fintech environment. We’re looking for an aspiring 'Swiss Army Knife'—a candidate eager to learn and grow across the entire SDLC, from assisting with architectural design and implementation to testing and deployment. Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Design & build future-proof solutions to support growing business needs while thoroughly considering the system impact
- As part of a customer-focused team, seek understanding of and value in our customer’s requirements, and actively shape the product from an engineering standpoint
- Be adaptive and strike a good balance between speed and efficiency
- Work with our technical support team to identify, reproduce, and remediate bug tickets
- Perform other duties required by Management
Essential Criteria:
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science / related qualification (Minimum 2.1 honours or higher)
- Commercial experience programming on the .NET platform using C#
- Knowledge of Design Patterns, refactoring, OO Design and related areas
- An understanding of database design and development
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS including jQuery
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with source control tools (TFS, SVN, or GIT)
- Legal right to work in the UK
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS/GCP
- Experience in testing methodologies
- Exposure to building web services using Web API
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems and implementation practices
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Knowledge of .NET Core and Entity framework
- Experience in Financial services industry
