We are currently seeking a Global Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!


The Global Product Manager – Chilled Water Systems leads the global strategy, development, and lifecycle management of the Thermal Chilled Water product portfolio. The role is responsible for driving business growth and profitability by aligning global product strategies with regional market needs, overseeing New Product Development, and optimizing the existing portfolio. Working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and commercial teams, the position ensures effective product positioning, competitive offerings, and successful go-to-market execution worldwide. 


What kind of work will you be doing?


The Global Product Manager – Chilled Water Systems is responsible for the end-to-end management of the Thermal Chilled Water product portfolio, leading its strategic development, positioning, and execution on a global scale. This role plays a critical part in driving sustainable business growth by ensuring strong alignment between global strategy and regional market needs, while enabling effective execution across all phases of the product lifecycle.

Working in close collaboration with Regional Business Teams, the Global Product Manager ensures that clear, data-driven product strategies are defined and consistently deployed worldwide. This includes identifying growth opportunities, addressing market gaps, and adapting the portfolio to evolving customer requirements, regulatory environments, and technological trends.

A core responsibility of the role is the ownership of both New Product Development (NPD) and lifecycle management of the existing portfolio. This involves defining product roadmaps, building business cases, and leading cross-functional development processes to deliver competitive, high-quality solutions aligned with time-to-market, cost, and performance targets. In parallel, the role ensures continuous optimization of the current portfolio through cost reduction initiatives, feature enhancements, rationalization activities, and end-of-life strategies, with a constant focus on profitability and market relevance.

The Global Product Manager is accountable for financial performance at portfolio level, including revenue growth, margin expansion. In addition, the role defines and drives global product positioning, value proposition development, pricing frameworks, and commercial enablement. The Global Product Manager supports regional teams with tools, training, and guidance to ensure successful product launches and consistent market messaging worldwide.

Reporting to the Senior Global Product Manager, this role operates in a highly cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with Engineering, Regional Product Management, Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales. 

               

Responsibilities:


Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Define and execute the global product strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year product roadmap by segment and application
  • Identify product portfolio gaps, overlaps, and rationalization opportunities
  • Ensure alignment between global direction and regional requirements

New Product Development (NPD) & Innovation

  • Lead NPD programs from concept to launch, ensuring time, cost, and performance targets
  • Build business cases and translate market needs into product requirements
  • Collaborate with R&D to develop competitive and future-ready solutions

Financial Performance & Business Ownership

  • Own product financials, including revenue, margin, and ROI
  • Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve profitability
  • Prioritize investments based on strategic and financial impact

Regional Alignment & Stakeholder Management

  • Align global roadmap with regional needs and growth opportunities
  • Act as the key interface between global and regional teams
  • Support regions with product guidance and strategic direction

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

  • Drive alignment across engineering, operations, and commercial teams
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organization
  • Ensure successful product industrialization and execution

What will make you successful?

 

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong technical background with experience in Chiller or CRAH or Air Handling unit’s product.
  • Experience in product/portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market and customer trends.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
