The Franchise Marketing Analyst 2 is a developing professional role within the CAMBM (Client Access and Markets and Banking Marketing) Marketing function, based in Belfast. Offered on a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract basis, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain meaningful experience within a globally recognised financial institution.

The successful candidate will sit within a small, collaborative team providing essential operational and administrative marketing support across a range of business-critical functions. This role is integral to the smooth running of the CAMBM Marketing team, requiring a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.

The analyst will be responsible for invoice processing, travel and expense management, supplier onboarding, and data entry, ensuring that all activities are completed in a timely, compliant, and accurate manner throughout the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing: Manage processing of marketing invoices, ensuring accuracy, appropriate coding, and timely submission through internal finance systems. Liaise with finance teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies to help ensure invoices are approved and paid within agreed timelines.
  • Travel & Expense (T&E) Entry: Accurately record and submit travel and expense claims on behalf of the CAMBM Marketing team in accordance with Citi's Travel & Expense Policy. Ensure all submissions are compliant, supported by appropriate documentation, and processed within required deadlines.
  • Supplier Onboarding: Support the onboarding of new marketing suppliers and vendors, coordinating with Procurement, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure all required documentation, due diligence, and system registrations are completed accurately and in line with Citi's Third Party Management standards.
  • Data Entry & Management: Perform accurate and timely data entry across a range of marketing systems and databases. Maintain data integrity, identify and resolve discrepancies, and support the team in producing accurate management information and reporting.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general operational and administrative support to the CAMBM Marketing function, including maintaining trackers, filing, and supporting team processes and workflows.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Compliance, as well as external suppliers and vendors.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and workflows, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Risk & Compliance: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to Policy, apply sound ethical judgment, and escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail is critical in this role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to produce error-free work across all tasks, particularly in data entry, invoice processing, and expense management.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, operational, or marketing support role, ideally within financial services or a large corporate environment.
  • Strong numerical literacy with the ability to process financial data accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a fixed term contract environment, with the ability to integrate quickly into an established team and deliver value from day one.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with supplier/vendor onboarding processes and third-party management frameworks.
  • Experience working within a marketing function or supporting a marketing team.
  • Understanding of financial services regulatory environment and compliance requirements.
  • Exposure to Capital Markets or Investment Banking environments.
