FP&A Analyst – Edenred Payment Solutions

Hybrid – Swindon or London

Salary – Competitive + Bonus

We are seeking a talented and driven FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Analyst to join our team. The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department by providing accurate and timely financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.

As an integral member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, collaborate closely with senior management, and contribute to the company's strategic decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Budgeting: Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop, maintain, and analyse financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans. Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial models and reports.

Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis of revenue, expenses, and profitability drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), write succinct & focused commentaries and present actionable recommendations to senior management.

Forecasting and Variance Analysis: Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasted targets. Prepare comprehensive variance analysis reports, highlighting key drivers of variances and providing insights to improve financial performance.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis to key stakeholders. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and provide actionable insights into business performance.

Strategic Decision Support: Assist in evaluating commercial business initiatives by conducting profitability analysis, and scenario modelling. Provide decision support to senior management through data-driven recommendations.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments (Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to provide financial insights, support cost optimization initiatives, and drive operational efficiency. Act as a finance business partner to foster collaboration and ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business objectives.

Process Improvements: Continuously assess and improve financial planning and analysis processes, systems, and tools. Utilize automation and data analytics to streamline reporting, improve accuracy, and enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified / Passed Finalist CIMA / ACCA / ACA (or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial management platforms (e.g., ERP systems, data visualization tools) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
