The Role:
The Fixture Management Team Lead is an experienced professional, who is equally responsible for the overall progress and performance of a team including both people management and timely and accurate data delivery. The role itself requires a balanced combination of leadership skills and product knowledge, as well as industry understanding. Being the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, Team Lead is expected to skillfully handle different levels of communication, while maintaining productive relations with all parties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of full-time employees, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
- Identify individual coaching needs and provide ongoing feedback to support professional development and growth.
- Plan workloads effectively in both the short and long term, aligned with production goals and operational demands.
- Set clear expectations and objectives, ensuring the team remains informed about operational and organizational changes.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, regularly monitor team performance, and implement improvements.
- Evaluate and optimize workflows, procedures, and tools to meet evolving requirements and industry standards.
- Delegate tasks appropriately, providing guidance and motivation to ensure successful execution.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and conduct analyses to support decision-making.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and maintain strong communication across functions.
- Take an active role in recruitment and onboarding.
- Handle disciplinary matters professionally, in accordance with company policies.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams
- Solid sports data product knowledge and understanding of industry dynamics
- Broad and up-to-date knowledge of multiple sports
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to foster positive relationships
- Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented
- Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Self-aware, reflective, and open to feedback
