Job Description:
We are looking for a Digital savvy, highly energized, autonomous, and ready to roll-up sleeves associate to create value for the finance function, business partners and our Pet Nutrition NA business. While the associate will report to the Supply Chain Strategy Finance Lead, they will be working directly with various multifunctional teams on a daily basis (project engineers, overhead budget owners, Supply Finance Managers, etc.) as the expert in providing data clarity from our financial systems and turning them into actionable insights, along with providing business partnerships to these teams. They will turn data into insights into actions in regards to our Overhead spend for both Supply Chain as well as Commercial functions to ensure financial commitments are met. They will partner with project engineers to ensure timely capitalizations occur and enhance reporting related to capital.
To be successful in the role, the associate will need a strong working knowledgeable of various SAP modules, Power BI and Microsoft products.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2+ years of experience in areas of accounting or finance related fields
- Understanding of basic financial processes and controls
- Knowledge of Excel, SAP, power BI
- Process improvement experience would be an advantage
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Control and report dedicated P&L lines on short-, mid- and long-term perspective: provide performance analysis and planning, including scenarios modeling and brining insight, opportunities and risks evaluation.
- Contribute into financial processes, including period closing (including accruals), future performance planning and estimation for P&L & cash, reporting for different forums.
- Closely co-ordinate with all functions/departments involved to ensure targets delivery. Maintain close relationship with business/functional managers to review performance and suggest/co-ordinate corrective actions, where required.
- Bring continuous improvement in dedicated area (overheads, capital): act as project leader / project team member / individual contributor to reflect business changes in current systems and processes. Improve current tools and processes, including developing and roll-out of digital tools.
