JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION
As a Functional Consultant (Dynamics), you will estimate and configure solutions that make use of Microsoft Dynamics and enable the digital transformation of our customers.
You will be responsible for capturing and mapping customer needs to product capabilities. You will work alongside the architect to ensure the solution designed meets the user needs. Working with the developer to configure the product to meet the specific requirements of the client, you will make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
You will keep up to date with product development and new features and provide relevant information to the customer or engineering teams.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
· Evidence of shaping a successful implementation through in depth knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of Dynamics 365
· Experience of customisation and delivery of Dynamics solutions in at least 2 of the following: Customer Service, Field Service or Marketing
· Experience working directly with clients and proven ability of questioning and influencing when appropriate
· Able to explain technical concepts to clients in simple, accessible language
· Experience of using a variety of techniques to gather requirements
· Able to simply and clearly communicate user needs as conversation, documentation and presentations
· Experience working within Agile development teams
· A demonstrated ability to manage coach and develop team members
DESIRABLE:
· Microsoft Dynamics Functional consultant certification
· Experience working as a Business Analyst
· Experience of working in a consultancy
· Experience of a variety of development methodologies
· Participation in knowledge sharing activities both within the team and at a wider
level.
