Lead an EMEA Bid Management Command Center owning the full bid lifecycle for €10M+ data center projects. Build and lead a team, design storyboard methodology, chair senior governance, apply TCO/RIBA/stage-gate frameworks, and drive measurable win-rate improvement within 12 months.
We're hiring a Bid Management Director
At Vertiv, we power the critical infrastructure behind AI, cloud, and the digital world. Our EMEA market is booming — demand is accelerating, complexity is rising, and the opportunities are getting bigger.
But winning €10M+ data center projects isn't about writing better proposals. It's about building the machine that wins them — consistently, decisively, and at scale.
That's why we're creating something new: a Bid Management Command Center for EMEA.
The role:
- Own the entire bid lifecycle — from Go/No-Go to mobilization handover
- Build and lead a team (Senior Bid Managers, Coordinators & Knowledge specialists)
- Design the storyboard methodology that turns proposals into winning narratives
- Chair SteerCo governance with President & VP-level stakeholders
- Deliver measurable win-rate improvement within 12 months
You:
- 10+ years leading complex bids in data centers / critical infrastructure
- Have moved win rates, not just tracked them
- Hyperscaler, colo, or sovereign project experience
- Mastery of TCO, RIBA frameworks, and stage-gate governance
- Think commercially, challenge intelligently, build relentlessly
Us:
- Vertiv (NYSE: VRT) — powering the AI infrastructure revolution
- EMEA-wide scope | Hybrid flexibility
- Greenfield transformation mandate — your methodology, your team, your results
- Direct line to senior leadership
This isn't a support function. This is the strategic engine that determines which battles we fight and how we win them.
If you've ever looked at a bid function and thought "I could build this properly" — this is your moment.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene
If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
