Supports complex SaaS deals across pricing, quoting, commercial terms, contract amendments, governance, and revenue recognition. Acts as a commercial advisor to Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Billing; manages requests through Salesforce, identifies risks, resolves blockers, and recommends practical solutions. The role also contributes to process improvements, automation, documentation, and continuous improvement across the Deal Desk function.
HiBob helps modern, mid-sized businesses transform the way they manage people, giving HR and managers everything they need to connect, engage, develop and retain their people.
Since launching in 2015, we've grown into one of the world's leading HR platforms, supporting thousands of businesses globally. As we continue to scale, our Deal Desk team plays a critical role in helping the business grow responsibly by ensuring every commercial decision supports our customers, our teams, and our long-term goals.
Being a Bobber is about bringing your whole self to work. We value curiosity, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. If you enjoy solving complex commercial problems, partnering with a wide range of stakeholders and making a genuine impact on how a business operates, we'd love to hear from you.
About the role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Deal Desk Specialist to join HiBob as we continue scaling towards our next stage of growth.
Sitting at the heart of our Sales organisation, you’ll help our Sales and Customer Success teams structure commercially sound deals, navigate pricing and approvals, and solve the non-standard requests that come with a fast-growing global SaaS business.
You don’t need to have spent years in a formal Deal Desk function. We’re equally interested in people from Deal Desk, Pricing, Commercial Operations, Renewals or commercially focused Sales/Revenue Operations backgrounds who have hands-on experience with pricing, quoting and commercial decision-making.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role and would particularly suit someone looking to deepen their Deal Desk/commercial expertise rather than move immediately into people management.

Becoming a Bobber means you'll receive competitive compensation, benefits and pre-IPO equity alongside all of this:
And beyond the benefits, you'll join a company where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, grow your career, challenge yourself and help shape the future of work.
We're building a company where everyone can do their best work, grow their careers and be themselves along the way. We'd love for you to be part of it.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role and would particularly suit someone looking to deepen their Deal Desk/commercial expertise rather than move immediately into people management.
What you will bring:
Essential requirements:
- Experience in Deal Desk, Pricing, Commercial Operations, Renewals, Sales Operations or Revenue Operations within a B2B technology/SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience with pricing, quoting, discounts, commercial approvals or deal structuring - this is more important to us than your current job title.
- Comfortable using Salesforce; CPQ experience is highly desirable but not essential if you have worked with another quoting/pricing tool.
- Able to look beyond process and use commercial judgement to recommend practical alternatives.
- Confident partnering with Sales and challenging requests constructively when something doesn't make commercial sense.
- Comfortable working with Finance and Legal on non-standard requests.
- Clear, concise communicator who is comfortable saying “I don't know yet, but I'll find out” rather than guessing.
- Comfortable working at pace and prioritising multiple competing requests.
- Curious, low ego and keen to continue developing your commercial expertise.
Nice to have
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS businesses.
- Exposure to companies preparing for IPO, recent funding rounds or acquisitions.
- Experience driving process improvements or workflow automation.
- Revenue Operations experience with exposure across the full customer lifecycle.
- Interest in AI and operational excellence.
- CPQ or Quoting tool experience.
What you will do:
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to structure new business, renewal, upsell and expansion deals from initial request through approval.
- Review pricing, discounts and non-standard commercial requests, balancing the needs of the customer, Sales and HiBob.
- Rather than simply saying “no”, identify commercially viable alternatives that help teams get deals done.
- Build and amend quotes and support approval workflows within Salesforce/CPQ.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal and other stakeholders on complex or non-standard deals.
- Support contract terms, pricing exceptions, deal approvals and other Quote-to-Cash activities.
- Manage a high volume of requests while knowing when a complex/high-value deal needs additional attention.
- Spot recurring issues and help improve Deal Desk processes, policies and workflows as HiBob scales.
- Become a trusted commercial advisor to Sales - able to explain the “why” behind a decision, not simply enforce process.
Benefits
Why join this team?
- Join a highly visible team that partners with almost every commercial function across HiBob.
- Play a key role in supporting HiBob's continued growth and long-term commercial strategy.
- Develop expertise across pricing, contracts, commercial governance and revenue operations.
- Work alongside experienced Deal Desk professionals with opportunities to learn and grow.
- Be encouraged to challenge existing processes and help shape how the function evolves.
- Progress into Senior Deal Desk or future Operational Excellence opportunities as the team continues to expand.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene
If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
