Reports to: Marketing Director

Hours: 37.5  per week

Role Overview

As our Content, PR & Media Associate, you will be the creative engine behind our Founder’s public presence. You aren't just managing channels; you are a technical producer and a strategic voice. You will own the ‘top-of-funnel’ by architecting a data-driven content strategy that builds market authority.  This will directly support our growth initiatives and enterprise AI Enablement narrative across podcasts, social media and national press.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Podcast Production & Managed transition: You will partner closely with our external production agency to oversee the current shoot, sound, and final cut workflows for the Data and AI Mastery podcast. You will turn long-form recordings into premium episodes.
  • Social Media Reach and Engagement: You will extract high-impact, viral social clips from the Founder's long-form content to keep his personal brand top-of-feed. You will command the audience growth metrics for his digital channels, maximising subscriber count and expanding his executive reach.
  • The Founder’s Ghostwriter: You will partner closely with the Group CEO to translate his ideas into punchy, authoritative LinkedIn posts and X threads. You will capture his voice so well that the audience can't tell the difference.
  • Strategic Research & Content Architecture: You will actively research global AI trends, competitor frameworks, and technical updates. You will build out content calendars and pitch ready-to-go concepts to the CEO, minimising his prep time during weekly recording slots.
  • Asynchronous Thought Leadership & PR: You will focus intensely on drafting, pitching, and placing authoritative Op-Eds, white papers, and expert commentary in leading business and tech publications (Sifted, FT, TechCrunch etc.)
  • AI-Native Execution: You will leverage AI to achieve the output of an entire media team. Whether deploying AI for rapid video subtitling, automated show notes generation, or asset creation, you are meticulous about maximising 'leveraged' output.
  • Production Logistics: You own the master content production calendar. You will book high-profile guests, prep the Group CEO for interviews, and ensure all studio gear is optimised and ready for every shoot.

Candidate Specification
  • Evidence of Impact: You bring a strong portfolio of work (video, written, or PR results) proving your ability to grow an audience and manage a premium brand’s voice. You are naturally data-driven and comfortable utilising platform analytics (e.g., LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio) to track reach, measure growth, and iterate on strategy.
  • Technical Production & Design Skills: You are an exceptional, hands-on editor who creates content that feels premium, not ‘stock’. You possess a deep understanding of cloud recording and production suites (e.g., Riverside, Descript, Adobe Premiere) alongside design tools like Canva to rapidly build high-fidelity social graphics and episodic thumbnails. Experience training AI models on executive brand voices to safely automate asset distribution is a major plus.
  • The "Writer’s Ear": You write with distinct personality and authority. You excel at framing complex, technical AI and EdTech topics into highly accessible, engaging social content.
  • An AI-First Workflow: You maintain a personal toolkit of frontier AI applications that you use daily to work faster and better. You see AI as an essential collaborator and leverage multiplier, not a gimmick.
  • Scale-Up Resourcefulness: In our environment, things move fast. You are completely comfortable "figuring it out", whether that means troubleshooting a microphone array on a live shoot or finding a creative angle to reach a hard-to-get guest.
  • Radical Ownership: You do not wait for a brief. You proactively spot content opportunities, grab them, and run with them from idea to final publication.

Company Benefits:

  • Pension with 4% matched contributions, opportunity to opt into salary sacrifice scheme
  • 25 days holiday + Flexi bank holidays + 1 day off on your birthday
  • A day for volunteering
  • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave
  • Health & Wellbeing allowance of up to £30 per month
  • Annual Summer and Xmas events
  • Company socials including everything from Cambridge College formals, pub nights to team building events
  • CPD Allowance alongside quarterly reflections to ring fence time for development and growth
  • Private medical insurance and cash plan
  • Holiday buy back scheme (up to 10 days p/a)
  • Employee Assistance Programme with a dedicated company counsellor

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
