At QUALCO, we empower the financial world with innovative technology. As a Compliance Manager you will support Group Companies leading compliance efforts across diverse regulatory frameworks, ensuring our organization remains at the forefront of legal and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret legislative developments in relevant compliance areas, particularly in emerging technologies;
- Review commercial agreements (e.g., DPAs, SLAs,) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks;
- Oversee and ensure compliance with GDPR, AML, business law, and cybersecurity frameworks;
- Provide guidance on compliance for new tech and data initiatives;
- Support key projects, such us data mapping, retention policies, product compliance, and PIAs.
- Develop, and maintain compliance policies (e.g., anti-bribery, AML, whistleblowing, conflict of interest, competition, etc.);
- Conduct compliance assessments and recommend actions to address risks;
- Foster a culture of compliance through training and collaboration across departments;
- Prepare compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Law;
- Understanding of operational and business demands in an international environment;
- 10+ years of experience in legal or compliance roles, preferably in technology-driven environments;
- Solid understanding of GDPR, AML, and technology-related frameworks;
- Proven ability to manage complex compliance frameworks and collaborate across teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging legal and regulatory developments.
- Experience in managing compliance risk factors and embedding them in the design of business operations; and
- Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken).
What is considered a plus:
- A master’s degree in technology law, Data Protection, or related fields;
- Relevant compliance certifications are a plus;
- Experience with ISO compliance standards, including (37001, 37301, 27701);
- Familiarity with GRC tools for compliance monitoring.
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework for publicly listed companies
