Business administration is essential to the smooth running of any organisation. As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will be involved in a wide range of business activities that ensure our company operates efficiently. Your role will include handling day-to-day tasks, managing priorities, and working across departments to support business operations. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will develop your skills in communication, problem-solving, and innovation. You'll become a valued asset to the team, gaining hands-on experience in planning, organising, record-keeping, and quality control.

Apprenticeship Programme Description:

Year 1:

  • A college assessor will visit your workplace to deliver and set up your qualifications.

  • Your main qualification will be a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business & Administration, which will continue into Year 2.

  • Supporting qualifications will include Essential Skills Qualifications in Communication Level 2, Application of Number Level 2, and Digital Literacy Level 2.

  • You will rotate across various departments every 3 months, each rotation culminating in a specific outcome or project.

Year 2:

  • Complete your Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business & Administration qualification.

  • Continue rotating across departments every 3 months, building knowledge and communication skills while working on specific projects and outcomes.

Year 3:

  • Specialise within a department, developing deeper department-specific skills and expertise.

General Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to stay on top of college work and research various business techniques used across departments.

  • A problem-solver with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Willingness to engage in a structured development programme and take responsibility for personal growth.

Location:

  • This role will be based at our Llantrisant site.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five GCSEs (grades A* to C), including English and Maths.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organised.

  • Strong interest in business functions.
