About The Role
Responsible for managing and developing large venues e.g. Sports and Entertainment stadia to grow the Venue pipeline of opportunities to ensure the successful growth of Boldyn’s Venue business. The role will be a mixture of proactive Business Development activities and reactive response to tenders or opportunities in the Venues market, focusing Stadia and Arenas.
What You’ll Be Doing

  •  From the direction set by the Commercial Director, accountable for researching, targeting, lead generation and prospect management to successfully contract with Venue partners.
  • Responsible for managing the sales and business development process from initial research through to negotiation and completion of contracts 
  • Desktop research to identify suitable venue targets developing an execution approach as appropriate through lead generation strategies and marketing plans to turn targets into prospects.
  • Use appropriate sales and business development methodologies to develop the Venues pipeline.
  • Develop relationships with MNO customers to target lead generation activities to venues that are of complimentary to their commercial interests
  • Develop relationships with key channel partners to promote Boldyn’s Venue offering;
  • Identify appropriate events to showcase Boldyn Networks and attend other relevant industry events to gain market intelligence and promote our Venue offering;
  • Work alongside the operations team to support the survey, design and deployment process, and facilitate introductions between them and the Venue.
     

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience working in telecommunications and a good understanding of the technical landscape to translate customer requirements into reality
  • Business development experience with Mobile Network Operators, systems integrations or similar experiences selling DAS, Wi-Fi, Fibre or other related connectivity solutions
  • Strong experience employing strategic sales methodologies and techniques, bid writing, negotiating skills structured sales processes and formal RFP processes.
  • Experience of working as part of a team in contract negotiations for long term partnerships through to a successful conclusion in a technical environment
  • Proven experience of business development activity to achieve revenue targets and budgets and drive opportunities through to completion
  • Experience of building long-term, quality customer relationships and navigating the negotiating cycle with maturity and a partnership ethos
