The Senior Publisher Success Manager is the day-to-day contact for a subset of premium publisher partners. Reporting to the Head of Publisher Success for our EMEA region, this individual is essential to retaining Publisher accounts while unlocking their maximum revenue potential.
The Senior Publisher Success Manager will independently own relationships with our publisher partners – part of this role is building and maintaining meaningful relationships with Publisher clients through in-person meetings in and around London. Through these relationships and their industry knowledge, this individual will be crucial in helping develop the company’s overall publisher development strategy.
The Senior Publisher Success Manager possesses a passion for customer success and serves as an expert on GumGum’s products, publisher tools and platforms. This person will be expected to be present in the London office once or twice a week.
Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.
What You'll Achieve
- Independently owns publisher partnerships, including some of the world’s biggest and well-known websites
- Conducts in-person QBRs at our top publisher partners offices, and other in-person meetings with Publisher clients in and around London
- Discusses and analyses industry trends through conversations with publisher partners and in turn helps develop overall publisher strategy
- Serve as an expert on GumGum’s products, publisher tools and platforms
- Identify and provide solutions to bottlenecks in account management duties and processes
- Escalates inbound technical issues to Solutions Engineers as needed while managing external partner communications & expectations
- Monitor daily reporting to proactively identify trends, issues, and growth opportunities, and present them externally to help drive new revenue via upsells
- Fully supports publisher onboarding implementations - working closely with GumGum’s solutions engineering and partner management teams
- Manages additional projects aimed at building first-class processes and systems that not only support our clients effectively but also explore opportunities to automate tasks or leverage AI to improve day-to-day responsibilities
Skills You'll Bring
- BA/BS degree in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or similar experience
- 4+ years experience in digital media/ad tech, with exposure to a network, exchange, or SSP environment
- Experience in a startup environment
- Experience in an account management role within ad tech creating solutions on behalf of clients
- Experience with JIRA, Zendesk, Google Sheets, and ticketing systems
- Clear communicator (verbal & email) with experience in a customer facing role
- Ability to think critically and view issues from different perspectives
- Ability to breakdown complex problems and appropriately articulate them to the necessary parties
- Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, GSuite applications. (Jira & Google Ad Manager are a plus)
