The Partnership Director manages and grows relationships with university partners, develops strategic partnership plans, analyzes performance, and collaborates internally to meet partnership goals.

The Partnership Director is responsible for managing and growing relationships with our Partners in the UK & EMEA. This role will be the primary strategic and operational partner for our Partners, building the growth strategy to drive revenue and impact for both parties and building a high level of trust. Internally, the role will collaborate and align resources to ensure we meet our service levels, key dates and deadlines to deliver excellent outcomes for the Partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with university partners that are mutually beneficial and form strong, growing partnerships.
- Develop and own the strategic partnership plans for growth, through development of a deep understanding of the Partner’s needs and goals.
- Understand and build a 3-year plan with the university that provides an aligned direction of partnership.
- Cultivate relationships with university leaders, executives and stakeholders to strengthen partnership, expand reach and identify areas to increase revenue share and drive mutual growth.
- Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports and insights to both Partner and Risepoint stakeholders. Guide Partner decision-making with use of metrics and data for improved outcomes and student experiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, client challenges and needs and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and delivery of partner expectations. Communicates across teams and leadership levels to provide updates on progress, share risks or challenges and to ensure alignment.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and contracts, including new program launches.
- Identify areas of improvement using both structured and creative thinking in managing university partnerships to solve operational challenges to improve performance, and lead peers to implement change if needed.
Additional Position Responsibilities

- Perform other duties as assigned
Travel Required - Regular travel to partner locations, at least once a quarter per client. Additional travel for appropriate new and prospective partner conversations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Bachelor’s degree in business, education or related field.
- Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, with strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of higher education and student recruitment processes
- Strong presentation skills
- Strategic thinker, evidence of setting a clear strategic plan for growth and delivery against this
