Who You Are:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Product Manager to join our team, focusing on developing our enterprise risk platform used to manage market, credit and liquidity risk. This role will require establishing a close working relation with risk, trading, lending, and operations teams and we're looking for someone who has had experience in doing so. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the risk team in defining and maintain risk measures (VaR, PFE, CCE, greeks, and stress testing).
  • Work with trading teams to setup and maintain portfolio structures, traded instruments, and reference data.
  • Develop and enhance credit management and inventory management tools.
  • Work closely with technical teams to design and implement risk management solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to stay updated with the latest trends and practices in risk management.
  • Assist in managing the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
  • Facilitate team agile ceremonies (stand-ups, grooming, team retrospective, and planning sessions).
  • Analyze and interpret complex data to inform product development strategies.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring product efficacy and relevance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in risk product management, ideally in traditional finance,  or cryptocurrency domains.
  • Familiarity with equities and derivatives (Forwards, Options, Swaps, etc.) product lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  • Technical background, especially in risk management software or tools, is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range

$140,000$185,000 USD
