Assistant Contracts Executive
Edinburgh Innovations is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to provide high-quality contract drafting and administration support within the EI Contracts team. As an Assistant Contracts Executive, you will play a key role in reviewing and negotiating a variety of contractual agreements, primarily Non-Disclosure Agreements and Amendments, to support collaborations with industry partners.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), we welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time hoursor flexible working patterns. We also support hybrid working on a non-contractual basis, offering a blend of home and on-site working to help you balance work and life effectively. This is a fixed term post until the 31st of July 2027.
The salary for this post is Grade 6 £32,873 to £39,233 per annum.
The experience and qualities we are looking for:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent formal training: The candidate should have a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of various legal agreements: The candidate should have knowledge of, or be able to develop knowledge of, various legal agreements. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build relationships: The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, explain complex contractual matters clearly, and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, including internal colleagues and external clients.
- Demonstrable evidence of high-quality customer service skills: The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service, with the ability to inspire trust and ensure a smooth and effective delivery of the EI Contracts service.
- Highly organised, with ability to manage a busy workload efficiently: The candidate should be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and manage their own busy workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
