Coordinate the Evidence Exchange Policy Fellowships programme in Scotland, supporting programme design and delivery, understanding policy needs, and brokering connections between public and civil servants and relevant academic experts. The role involves working within the Edinburgh Research Office and collaborating with universities, partners, and specialist organisations across the EvEx consortium.

Provides contract drafting and administration support within the contracts team. Manages contracts and key supplier relationships within the university’s Strategic Procurement team. Supports university technology transfer and translational activities by identifying and assessing intellectual property, conducting patentability and due diligence reviews, performing market analysis, creating partner-facing marketing materials, and helping develop commercialization strategies. The intern will work with academic staff and industry partners across scientific, engineering, health, creative, and business disciplines while gaining practical experience in IP management and commercialization.

Conduct original research in artificial intelligence, particularly perception, action, generative models, reinforcement learning, and autonomous systems. Develop a strong research agenda, teach undergraduate and master's courses, and supervise undergraduate, master's, and PhD projects. The role also requires contributing to a collaborative, research-intensive academic environment.
