Supports the Research Accountant and Research Grants Team by preparing detailed financial award reconciliations, resolving legacy grant issues, identifying root causes, and implementing remedial ledger actions to support grant closure and post-award financial administration.

The Communications Executive will promote Edinburgh Innovations and the University of Edinburgh’s commercialisation activities to internal and external audiences. Responsibilities include building collaborative relationships, curating and drafting accurate content, delivering communications across channels, and producing web stories, profiles, and campaign materials. The role is full-time or potentially part-time, hybrid, and fixed-term through July 2027.

Implements digital marketing strategies and campaigns to raise the profile of Interface, its innovation services, academic initiatives, and funding programs. Manages CMS, social media, email, and digital assets while creating evidence-based content for digital and offline channels. Produces copy, case studies, newsletters, videos, and infographics, and uses SEO, search engines, AI tools, Google Analytics, and web analysis platforms to improve marketing performance.
