Job Description

As an API Integrations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of integration success for our partner segments, thereby ensuring an exceptional experience for our partners and their customers. Your primary focus will be to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of AppXite's vendor integrations, striving to deliver the best purchasing experience and stable provisioning. 

Responsibilities

  • Gather necessary data to configure offer, order provisioning and/or synchronization flows in flexible, stable and adaptable manner using APIs. 
  • Maintain ongoing communication with partners to resolve outstanding questions, understand their technical and business requirements and logic, and adjust services according to platform functionality. 
  • Attend partner workshops and trainings, investigate API documentations and perform necessary test cases to estimate the time required for integration, and describe ordering flows to ensure a safe customer and internal journey. 
  • Work closely with other departments in the organization (development teams, product managers, etc.) to ensure functional, dynamic and customer-friendly marketplace journey. 
  • Implement integration into testing, staging, and production environments. 
  • Verify data transfer across linked systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and handle errors to complete initiated flows and enhance them. 
  • Keep product configuration and integration up-to-date, make changes based on partner requests, and search for constant improvements of already implemented workflows. 
  • Explore modern data transfer methods for process automation. 
  • Recommend and develop translation layers between data formats and systems as needed. 
  • Make changes upon partner requests and requirements, maintain customer specific integrations, recommend if it should platform level and integrations.
  • Provide technical recommendations in case some new practices discovered, or they shall improve the integrations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in vendor integration, partnership management, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to both read and write it. 
  • Hands-on experience working with APIs such as REST and SOAP. Experience working with APIs to integrate systems. 
  • Familiarity with data formats such as JSON and XML. 
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret vendor and API documentation. 
  • Possess the skills to navigate API documentation and possess an understanding of security principles such as Auth0, OAuth, Azure Active Directory, JWT, among others. 
  • Capability of designing end-to-end functionalities using vendor APIs and furnishing proof-of-concept examples. 
  • Experience with Cloud/SaaS with a focus on partnership management and business development. 
  • Excellent planning capabilities to accomplish different milestones within tight schedules. 
  • Extremely detail-oriented and effective at learning new skills. 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Ability to take charge and plan work to ensure that all tasks are completed accordingly. 
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality work.
