- Improve border intelligence for detection and prevention, including some of the most disruptive new technologies like biometrics, machine learning, or micro services.
We are looking for a Data Scientist whose work will take place in the DV (Document Verification Team (part of Identity and Biometrics Solutions – R&D Engineering) located in Madrid.
The Data Scientist is responsible for the design and implementation of software components, qualification and integration of third party's software and usage of ML techniques in the scope of Document Verification and Data Extraction. Our products span from reusable libraries (hardware connectors, biometric libraries), desktop applications integrating hardware (passport readers), up to high performance servers.
Our costumers came from different areas including both: Public (Border Control System, Automatic Border Contols (ABC), Airport Systems, …) and Private (Banks, Telco, Car sharing companies) sectors that require document authentication and data extraction.
Your mission will be to explore and implement deep networks and optimization algorithms on a wide variety of use cases ranging from image processing to natural language processing techniques (NLP).
- You will focus on building models in artificial intelligence and Machine Learning
- Stay at the forefront of research and actively participate in the community: to identify potential risks and opportunities of AI / ML on our offers
- You will explore various cutting edge techniques to help solve use cases.
- You will identify and implement a strategy to collect appropriate annotated (or not) data sets for supervised and unsupervised learning methods and create training data.
- You will design, train and validate ML models and define solutions and the roadmap for integration into production.
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of machine learning architectures: determine possible approaches, implement them, research training data if necessary, train it, test it and optimize it for production.
To succeed in this job, you must have:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science/Data Scientist.
- The data scientist must have completed training and master's degree in machine learning at their school / university.
Experience:
Tech skills:
- You must have proven experience of at least 2 to 5 years in a similar role.
- To perform this job, you must have good knowledge of: supervised and unsupervised algorithms of Learning Machine, Python / R, Spark / Hadoop, one of the deep learning solutions (TensorFlow, Pythorch), UNIX / shell script creation, Linux administration and have good knowledge of image processing and ML techniques applied to computer vision. Experience using Computer Vision libraries (eg OpenCV)
- You must know Keras/Tensorflow or pythorch and implement several deep learning models close to industrialization.
- You must be fluent in Spanish & English.
