Accounting Support Analyst
Starting from £36,000, rising to £39,500

We offer an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team to complete key Accounts Payable duties and wider Finance month-end and year-end processes, work with the wider Finance team and Functional representatives to support controlling and financial planning processes.
We are looking for a talented, high energy team player who will be engaged and adaptable, an excellent problem solver and a strong communicator. Principal accountabilities:
  • Support AP department with standard AP duties - invoice processing and associated reconciliations and manage 3-way match process.
  • Provide a first line analysis of data from financial sources to establish integrity, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies.
  • Ensure all month end deadlines are met in relation to source transactional information.
  • Liaise with Finance Analysts and functional contacts to provide a service to coordinate understanding of financial data as represented in the published results.
  • Continue to drive towards improved reporting by introducing efficiencies into relevant processes.
  • Maintain associated SOX controls.
  • Support external audits as required.
  • Participate in the development and continual improvement of all management information systems and preparation for future new systems.

Candidate Requirements:
It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.
Candidates must:
  • SAP knowledge is preferable
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in finance month-end activities.
  • Strong IT/Finance System knowledge including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Be able to work unsupervised on principal accountabilities.
  • Adopt to change and have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to communicate and influence effectively.
