Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Account Manager to join our team in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small to medium-sized business (SME) clients, ensuring they receive excellent service and maximise value from our telematics solutions.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and able to build strong working relationships with customers while identifying opportunities for growth. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and a consistently positive customer experience.
Account Management & Customer Success
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all telematics-related queries.
- Build strong, positive relationships through regular communication, problem-solving, and proactive engagement.
- Understand each customer’s business requirements to ensure our products and services continue to meet their needs.
- Monitor account performance and usage data to ensure customers are receiving value and remain satisfied.
Growth & Retention
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services that benefit the customer.
- Support renewal conversations, pricing reviews, and contract discussions, maintaining profitability and customer retention.
- Contribute to team and individual revenue targets through effective account development.
Operational Coordination
- Work collaboratively with sales support, operations, customer service, and technical teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts, including product setup, training, and early‑stage engagement.
- Track and manage service requests to ensure timely resolution and excellent customer experience.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate account information, activity notes, and pipeline updates within the CRM system.
- Prepare periodic account reviews and simple performance summaries to highlight opportunities or risks within your portfolio.
- Provide customer feedback to internal teams to support product improvement and operational efficiency.
Required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with business owners and operational contacts.
- Good organisational abilities, with experience managing multiple customer priorities simultaneously.
- Competent in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and good problem-solving capabilities.
- Professional, customer-first attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Strong presentation or training skills for customer product walk-throughs.
Desirable
- 2–5 years of account management, customer success, or similar client-facing experience, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing a customer portfolio and meeting retention or revenue targets.
- Experience within telematics, fleet, SaaS, or related technology-based services.
- Familiarity with sales processes, customer onboarding, or account development planning.
- Ability to interpret product or usage data and turn insights into practical recommendations.
