I like to consider how each team member communicates, meeting them where they’re at instead of expecting them to match my style. Ensuring that a person feels comfortable and valued builds trust and encourages collaboration. Every Monday and Friday I get to work from home, which allows me to do school runs among other things. I’ve always enjoyed great flexibility around balancing life at home and work, that’s what I love about Workhuman. My leadership has always been understanding of my need to attend to family matters, however pressing they might be.
