Leads end-to-end business analysis for complex change across product, operations, technology, engineering, risk and design. Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated operating system image management, build, provisioning, and configuration platforms. Develops secure, standardised infrastructure automation across on-premises and cloud environments using tools such as Packer, Terraform, and Ansible. Supports CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability remediation, patching, compliance, highly available platforms, and enterprise operating systems. Collaborates across engineering teams to deliver and maintain resilient platform capabilities.

Manage financial crime and AML risk across Westpac’s Institutional and Business Banking division. Provide risk advice, handle AML escalations and approvals, support regulatory initiatives, influence business compliance, and strengthen proactive risk culture. The role requires strong knowledge of New Zealand financial crime regulations, risk frameworks, banking practices, and effective communication with senior stakeholders.

Conduct realistic adversary simulations and red team exercises across technology and identity environments. Identify exploitable attack paths, validate security controls, assess root causes, and communicate evidence-based findings. Partner with Cyber, Technology, blue team, detection engineering, and security operations teams to prioritize remediation and reduce risk. The role requires hands-on offensive security testing, scripting, enterprise infrastructure knowledge, and responsible execution within approved scopes.

Own and manage a portfolio of business banking deposit products end to end. Identify growth and improvement opportunities using customer, market, and performance insights; lead strategic initiatives; manage product governance, risk, and compliance; and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver customer and commercial outcomes.

Manage and grow a corporate banking portfolio across New Zealand, providing lending advice and tailored financial solutions. Build relationships with commercial clients, brokers, and accountants; identify new business opportunities; structure credit submissions; maintain portfolio health; and ensure compliance with risk, AML, and CCCFA requirements. The role also involves industry analysis, market representation, and collaboration with analysts, product specialists, and support teams.

Build and support reliable data pipelines, ETL processes, integrations, and data assets for financial crime platforms. Ensure data quality, integrity, availability, reconciliation, and production support for transaction monitoring, customer risk assessment, sanctions screening, regulatory reporting, analytics, and audit remediation. Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and vendors to investigate root causes and improve enterprise data capabilities.

Provide senior technical support for the bank’s Transaction Lifecycle Management and RecOps platforms. Maintain platform stability, resilience, and performance across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments. Diagnose and resolve complex issues, manage incidents, problems, and changes, collaborate with operational teams and vendors, and drive automation, simplification, and continuous improvement in a highly regulated, risk-sensitive environment.
