Assistant Professor responsible for conducting and publishing robotics and artificial intelligence research, securing research funding, supervising PhD students, and developing industry and policy partnerships. The role also involves designing and delivering undergraduate, postgraduate, CPD, and practical robotics laboratory teaching; assessing students; contributing to programme development; supporting inclusive education; and participating in departmental administration, enterprise, knowledge transfer, outreach, and EDI initiatives.

Provides strategic leadership for the University's learning environments portfolio, covering AV and media services, learning-space design, immersive technologies, study spaces, and space operations. Leads a team of more than 30, manages a budget exceeding £1 million, oversees over 300 teaching spaces, and directs service strategy, capital projects, procurement, suppliers, asset lifecycles, accessibility, sustainability, risk, and continuous improvement.

Administer and operate the NebulaOne AI platform and SIAP-delivered applications, including user access, configuration, licensing, monitoring, dashboards, maintenance, upgrades, incident resolution, and operational reporting. Maintain playbooks and recovery documentation, support automation workflows, deliver user training, and collaborate with developers, vendors, and university stakeholders to ensure reliable business-as-usual service delivery.
