Design and build backend platform and SDK features for an open-source and cloud product. Responsibilities include database schema design, query optimization, scalable APIs, reliable production systems, security, observability, architecture, and technical roadmap development. The role also involves customer support, code reviews, documentation, open-source participation, and occasional on-call work.

Design and build polished user interfaces across the web app and marketing site. Own UX and visual decisions from concept through production code, develop the design system and component library, improve accessibility and responsiveness, prototype ideas, and promote stronger design practices across the engineering team.

Own Trigger.dev’s growth marketing across influencer partnerships, GEO/SEO, targeted paid campaigns, and high-impact brand initiatives. The role requires end-to-end campaign ownership, channel depth, budget management, and bold creative execution. The Marketing Lead will work autonomously within a fast-paced, developer-focused startup, supporting community engagement and content creation while participating in occasional in-person events.
