The Finance Specialist supports budgeting, forecasting, fund allocation, accounting, financial reporting, donor reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial data maintenance for global conservation programs. The role prepares analyses and reports, identifies coding or variance issues, supports audits and close processes, maintains grant and award records, and advises program teams on financial policies, donor restrictions, and reporting requirements.

Develops and maintains geospatial web applications, mapping tools, and visualization solutions for conservation teams. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing systems, frontend development, application maintenance, production support, quality assurance, peer reviews, technical leadership, project planning, and advising teams on web mapping standards. The role uses Esri and open-source geospatial technologies and collaborates with product owners and globally distributed stakeholders.

Supports the Global Project Finance for Permanence portfolio through planning, governance, reporting, communications, systems improvement, coordination, and resource tracking. The role prepares dashboards, briefings, reports, and decision materials; facilitates cross-functional alignment and leadership follow-up; maintains portfolio tools and processes; and supports selected projects and strategic initiatives. Requires strong organization, analysis, communication, and collaboration across multicultural teams. Travel may be required domestically and internationally up to 25%.
