Lead the architecture and technical strategy of advanced weapon systems. Define system concepts, interfaces, technical roadmaps, and innovative solutions while balancing performance, cost, schedule, risk, and compliance. Provide technical governance and leadership across the product lifecycle, act as the primary technical interface for customers and partners, and support design authority activities for complex defence programmes.

Lead the design and development of electronic systems across the full product lifecycle, including requirements capture, architecture, circuit and PCB design, component selection, testing, verification, integration, and regulatory compliance. Mentor engineers, lead technical studies and trade-offs, support bids and estimates, and develop safety-critical equipment for airspace-protection and missile systems.

Lead the modernization of engineering tooling environments by migrating legacy platforms to Azure-based cloud infrastructure. Deploy and support CI/CD, artifact management, code quality, and licensing tools; develop Infrastructure as Code and automation; maintain existing environments; and provision infrastructure resources. Implement monitoring, backups, archiving, and logging best practices while supporting engineering users. Collaborate with product and delivery stakeholders, coach junior team members, and champion reliable, secure DevOps practices.
