Provides senior commercial and contractual leadership across bids and contract delivery for integrated airspace protection systems. Deploy and support CI/CD, artifact management, code quality, and licensing tools; develop Infrastructure as Code and automation; maintain existing environments; and provision infrastructure resources. Implement monitoring, backups, archiving, and logging best practices while supporting engineering users. Collaborate with product and delivery stakeholders, coach junior team members, and champion reliable, secure DevOps practices.

Supervise AI-assisted security workflows, validate alerts and triage recommendations, route complex investigations, maintain Bedrock and OpenSearch knowledge bases, audit AI output quality, refine prompts, track operational KPIs, train analysts, and provide feedback to automation engineering. The role also supports sales engineering proof-of-values and customer adoption. Requires cybersecurity operations experience, generative AI workflow exposure, AWS familiarity, technical documentation skills, and UK work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Processes vendor invoices, payments, employee expenses, credit card statements, and sales and use taxes. Maintains vendor records, reconciles accounts payable transactions, resolves invoice discrepancies, supports month-end close and accruals, and assists with audit documentation. The role also performs general accounting duties and collaborates with vendors, management, and auditors.

Provide advanced escalation support for Thales products: reproduce customer environments, perform root-cause analysis, validate interoperability and fixes, collaborate with development and QA, create knowledge resources, lead P1/P0 escalations, and participate in a mandatory 24x7 support rota.

Provide technical security advice and through-life assurance for Thales IS/IT environments. Deliver security reviews, cloud and incident response guidance, compliance to government standards, risk assessments, CoCo assurance, and security requirements for delivery squads. Maintain security documentation and support continual assurance, training, and remediation across on-premises and cloud systems.

Lead the architecture and technical strategy of advanced weapon systems. Define system concepts, interfaces, technical roadmaps, and innovative solutions while balancing performance, cost, schedule, risk, and compliance. Provide technical governance and leadership across the product lifecycle, act as the primary technical interface for customers and partners, and support design authority activities for complex defence programmes.

Lead the design and development of electronic systems across the full product lifecycle, including requirements capture, architecture, circuit and PCB design, component selection, testing, verification, integration, and regulatory compliance. Mentor engineers, lead technical studies and trade-offs, support bids and estimates, and develop safety-critical equipment for airspace-protection and missile systems.

Lead complex, strategically important bids from end to end, developing compliant and competitive proposals while coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Shape bid and capture strategies, manage budgets, pricing, risks, governance, and stakeholder engagement, and support customer presentations and negotiations. The role focuses on business growth across UK and international defence opportunities and requires Security Clearance before employment begins.

Supports financial management of projects and contracts through budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, cost analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial data preparation. The role partners with Finance and Product teams in a technical defence environment and requires a qualified accountant with strong Excel, ERP, analytical, and commercial skills. Supports the development, deployment, validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution System solutions across UK industrial sites. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, translating operational needs into technical specifications, configuring and testing deployments, troubleshooting incidents, supporting MES users, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with manufacturing, supply chain, IT, and site teams. The role also participates in Agile ceremonies and contributes to standardized MES practices and best-practice development.

Lead the technical strategy, architecture, governance, and delivery of cyber exercise and OT training capabilities for Thales UK customers, including MOD clients. Define secure OT range architectures, product technologies, design patterns, and access-control strategies. Guide engineering, testing, and assurance; facilitate exercises and training; brief senior stakeholders; shape standards and roadmaps; and represent Thales externally. The role requires deep OT and cybersecurity expertise across critical infrastructure, industrial systems, resilience, incident response, and high-assurance architectures.

Manages global renewals sales support, including sales operations, deal desk activities, quote approvals, Salesforce data integrity, reporting, process improvements, and integration initiatives. Leads and develops direct reports, manages renewal targets, supports compliance and governance, and partners with Legal, Finance, and Deal Desk teams. The role requires regular travel to the Reading site twice monthly.
