Teams at Supabase

Provide timely developer support for Supabase users across billing, implementation, optimization, and technical issues. Triage cases, guide users to documentation and code examples, monitor GitHub feedback channels, escalate issues, and identify tooling improvements. Reproduce bugs and create test cases when applicable. The role requires strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge, Linux and command-line proficiency, GitHub experience, excellent English communication, and at least three years of developer-support experience. This is a fully remote APAC weekend position with four 10-hour shifts.

Build and scale Supabase Storage across client libraries, CLI, CDN, storage servers, and deployment infrastructure. Responsibilities include improving upload and download performance, asset optimization, edge networking, caching, observability, reliability, APIs, developer tools, and the storage explorer. The role also involves PostgreSQL and distributed-systems performance tuning, infrastructure operations, escalated support resolution, and end-to-end project ownership in an asynchronous, remote, open-source environment.

Develop and optimize Supabase’s Data API based on PostgREST. Responsibilities include improving the PostgreSQL driver and performance, developing features, fixing bugs, resolving incidents and escalated support issues, improving observability, and debugging integrations across the Supabase platform. The role requires strong Haskell development, PostgreSQL and SQL expertise, Linux debugging, open-source contribution, and technical user support.
