SharkNinja
SharkNinja Career Growth & Development
Frequently Asked Questions
SharkNinja supports career growth by giving employees opportunities to learn through real product and business challenges. The company’s pace creates room for employees to build skills quickly while working closely with experienced teams.
- Learning through real product work: SharkNinja gives employees opportunities to grow by working close to the product development cycle, from early scientific discovery to detailed production design. The company’s 800-plus cross-functional engineers and designers collaborate across disciplines, giving employees exposure to product strategy, prototyping, testing and iteration. A test engineer described creating protocols that test motorized products for reliability and user safety, showing how technical learning is tied to real consumer outcomes.
- Mentorship and shared problem solving: Employees describe SharkNinja as a place where people learn from one another across roles and experience levels. An engineering manager said mentorship is mutual because “everyone knows something someone else does not,” while a test engineer said employees are “not by yourself” and work together when solving difficult problems. That collaborative model supports growth through feedback, cross-functional exposure and day-to-day coaching rather than only formal training.
- Early-career growth and AI skill-building: SharkNinja invests in early talent through SharkByte, its applied AI early-talent program for interns, co-ops and recent graduates. Participants receive access to AI tools, live business briefs, technical leads and production-oriented projects, with work automatically eligible for the company’s $1 million AI Awards pipeline. The program’s message is direct: “No case studies. No shadow projects. No busy work. Just real problems, real tools, and real impact.”
- External signals:
- Growth through challenging work: Employees surveyed on external review sites highlight personal growth, supportive leadership, smart coworkers, cross-team cooperation, challenging work and opportunities to work closely with other departments. (Comparably)
- Growth and development: Employees describe SharkNinja as a high-growth workplace with room to learn, take ownership and make an impact, with one account manager citing “great leadership, vision, priorities” and company perks. (Comparably)
- Recognition and rewards: Employees surveyed externally give SharkNinja strong marks for compensation and benefits, with 91% saying they are satisfied with benefits and 100% saying the company gives annual bonuses. (Comparably)
Bottom line: SharkNinja supports career growth by giving employees hands-on exposure to work that moves from idea to execution quickly. The company also invests in applied AI learning, giving early-career and experienced employees more ways to build practical skills.
SharkNinja is committed to Early Careers Talent?
We recently launched three new early talent programs - AI SharkBytes, Social Sharks, and RoboSharks in addition to the 400+ interns and co-ops we hire every year. Each program is designed to bring in talent to real world projects for immediate impact.
SharkByte
AI SharkByte isn't a typical internship program. It's a 3 to 6 month sprint where interns, co-ops, and recent graduates work on real business problems, build production-ready AI solutions, and leave a measurable mark on the company — before their last day. From week one, you're scoped to a live brief, paired with a Technical Team Lead, and building toward something that will go live. No case studies. No shadow projects. No busy work. Just real problems, real tools, and real impact.
Work on real, high-impact business challenges across our company—including product innovation & quality, marketing and creative virality, reimagining how we work, operations, to drive continued profitable growth. SharkByte runs across Boston and Miami as part of SharkNinja's broader AI transformation — the same agenda set by the CEO's AI Council. Early talent isn't on the sidelines of that story. You're inside it.
Global Social Sharks
Global Social Sharks is SharkNinja's early talent program for emerging social creators. You'll join one of the fastest-growing social media operations on the planet — in 2025 alone, we grew our Instagram and TikTok following nearly 15 times faster than our peers, and our products generated billions of impressions globally. 2026 is going to be even bigger. This isn't a program where you watch from the sidelines. You'll own real content, build real community, and make a real impact from day one.
New York · Paris · Miami · London · Madrid · Frankfurt · and beyond.
RoboSharks
RoboSharks is SharkNinja's early-career robotics internship — a full-time, onsite program designed for engineers who want to build things that matter from day one. From July 13 to September 4, 2026, you'll work alongside cross-functional engineering teams in Needham, MA, solving real problems for real products that reach millions of homes. Open to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students — and recent grads — in robotics, mechatronics, embedded systems, and related engineering disciplines.
