Leads and grows Primer’s pre-sales Solutions Engineering team, including hiring, coaching, technical sales standards, discovery, demos, POCs, RFPs, and deal strategy. Partners with Sales leadership on pipeline and forecasts, supports complex enterprise deals, builds CFO-level business cases, translates merchant feedback into product input, and measures SE impact on win rates and deal velocity. The role requires technical fluency in API integrations, SDKs, webhooks, and authentication flows, plus strong commercial and executive communication skills.

Lead Primer’s EMEA sales strategy, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and regional market expansion. Manage, coach, and develop Account Executives while personally pursuing strategic enterprise opportunities. Represent EMEA internally and externally, build executive relationships, collaborate with product, engineering, partnerships, and marketing, and provide regional insights to shape company strategy. Establish a culture of accountability, urgency, inclusion, and commercial excellence.

Own Primer's internal developer platform: CI/CD, deployment workflows, self-service and ephemeral environments. Build AI-enabled developer tooling and measure developer productivity. Operate production systems on-call, set platform standards, and mentor other engineers.

Own the full lifecycle of machine learning features, including research, experimentation, training, deployment, monitoring, and production optimization. Build ML infrastructure for payment routing, establish reliable MLOps practices, partner with product, data, engineering, and customers, mentor engineers, and guide technical priorities. Apply statistical thinking, A/B testing, pragmatic model evaluation, and reinforcement learning concepts in a remote-first environment.

Own the full lifecycle of machine learning features, including research, experimentation, training, deployment, monitoring, and production infrastructure. Build smart payment-routing models and MLOps practices, partner with product, data, engineering, and customers, evaluate outcomes statistically, mentor engineers, and help define ML technical direction and reliable development processes.

Own partner marketing initiatives for Primer’s payments platform, including product positioning, value propositions, messaging, campaigns, launch assets, enablement materials, and performance reporting. Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and partner teams to communicate technical product benefits to buyers and partners. Analyze market insights and customer personas, adapt content across channels, and help build scalable marketing processes in a remote, fast-changing SaaS environment.

Own end-to-end product marketing for Primer’s Partners team, including go-to-market launches, audience definition, messaging, positioning, competitive and buyer research, and partner and merchant feedback synthesis. Translate technical payment products into compelling buyer messaging, collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, and monitor initiative performance to optimize strategy. The role requires hands-on execution, strong project management, creativity, experimentation, and independent ownership in a fast-paced remote environment.

Own and improve Primer's GTM intelligence: maintain dashboards and semantic models, train BI/LLM models (Omni/Claude), surface pipeline/account signals, ensure correct Salesforce modeling, build revenue-driving models and GTM AI workflows, partner with data engineering and RevOps, drive adoption, and promote self-serve data literacy.

Lead front-end technical strategy across multiple teams for a complex, data-dense merchant platform. Own architecture, component systems, state management, performance, accessibility, and front-end observability. Mentor engineers, drive cross-team alignment, and partner with Product, Design, and backend engineers to deliver a cohesive merchant experience including the Primer AI Companion.

As a Junior Solutions Engineer at Primer, you will consult with merchants to solve their pain points, leverage technical skills in API integrations, lead discovery sessions, and collaborate with teams to enhance products.

Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines, internal tools, and APIs to support analytics, product features, and ML. Collaborate with product and engineering to improve data infrastructure, ensure reliability, testing, and observability in a cloud-native environment.
