Leads Nokia’s security research and standardization activities for 5G Advanced and 6G. Represents Nokia in 3GPP and other external forums, drives new security technology concepts, collaborates with patenting and business teams, builds industry and government relationships, and aligns security strategies with product roadmaps and Bell Labs research.

Develops Nokia’s 3GPP standard-essential patent portfolio for 6G cellular communications. Responsibilities include drafting and globally prosecuting patent applications, evaluating claim charts and patent validity, planning prosecution strategies, and collaborating with inventors and external patent attorneys. The role also contributes to innovative work practices and tools while supporting licensing-oriented patent asset development.

Lead 6G radio research, focusing on AI-native PHY design and MIMO technologies. Shape standards strategy and collaborate with teams to ensure technology advancement.
