Deploy and connect Microsoft Azure Backup Server to Azure Recovery Services Vault, configure backup policies, test DNS connectivity, perform server backups and recoveries, implement recovery solutions, and validate disaster recovery procedures. Lead the enterprise AI function, strategy, roadmap, platforms, engineering capability, governance, adoption, and delivery. Build a central AI team, help product and business teams deploy AI solutions, establish safe and compliant guardrails, manage AI-related costs, run pilots through production, and measure business impact. The role also drives training, change management, and AI champion networks across the organization.

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases and cloud-based SaaS infrastructure including installation, tuning, HA, backup/recovery, security, patching, migrations, SaaS platform administration (SSO/IAM), monitoring, automation, incident response, cloud and Linux server administration, and documentation for compliance and continuous improvement.

Lead product strategy, roadmap and delivery for geospatial software. Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales and customer success to define requirements, prioritise features, manage releases, gather customer insight, and drive commercial outcomes. Monitor product performance, support launches, and present business cases. Engage customers, run workshops, and incorporate emerging technologies including AI where relevant.

Provide Oracle database and application support across on-prem, private and public cloud environments: apply updates, install and troubleshoot software, monitor and resolve performance and backup issues, deploy Tomcat web apps, liaise with customers and IT teams, and drive automation and process improvements.

Define and translate Early Years Funding statutory and operational requirements into clear product requirements. Work with customers, product, design and engineering to analyse processes, author user stories, acceptance criteria and BA artefacts, support discovery, backlog refinement, sprint delivery, testing and continuous improvement, and act as subject matter expert on Early Years processes.

Lead end-to-end management of high-value, complex public sector bids. Define bid strategy, governance and review cycles, ensure compliance, drive win themes, manage stakeholders and mentor bid teams to improve quality and win rates.

Lead deployment, configuration, and optimisation of enterprise software for customers. Design scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform, deploy containerized apps on Kubernetes/Docker, manage SQL Server/PostgreSQL, automate tasks with PowerShell/Bash/Python, implement monitoring/observability, run workshops, and provide post-go-live support and documentation.

Perform data profiling and validation across source and target systems during a large-scale public sector data migration. Define and execute data quality rules, test BI dashboards, write and run SQL (MySQL) including stored procedures, document findings, and collaborate with data engineers to remediate issues while championing data quality across accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, and uniqueness.

Own and operate cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) using Infrastructure as Code. Maintain and improve Terraform estates, manage Kubernetes and ArgoCD production workloads, keep CI/CD pipelines reliable, automate with Python/Bash, monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with teams to deliver secure, scalable public-sector services.
