Provides administrative support for daily production operations, including maintaining materials, equipment, workforce, inventory, and KPI records. Coordinates departments, meetings, shift schedules, and staff movements; updates ERP systems, tracers, and planners; supports quality, health and safety, audits, risk assessments, cost tracking, and compliance documentation. Assists with resolving production issues, contingency planning, and reporting operational findings.

Lead the technical delivery of multiple engineering projects from concept through completion. Supports production engineering for shipbuilding programs by interpreting drawings and 3D models, creating CAD layouts and technical documents, developing build strategies and construction sequences, investigating production issues, collecting manufacturing data, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The role provides structured training in CAD, shipyard production processes, technical interpretation, and manufacturing methods, with opportunities to progress into professional engineering roles.

Supports production planning, work preparation, material availability checks, scheduling coordination, and production information control in a shipbuilding environment. Maintains work orders, routings, reports, readiness trackers, and progress data while interpreting bills of material and technical documentation. The role develops foundational capability in SAP PP/MM, production workflows, load-capacity planning, and material management through collaboration with production and planning teams.

Leads the Habitation and outfitting area for naval shipbuilding projects, coordinating resources, production, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, quality, HSE, and technical support. The role improves processes, develops procedures, supports procurement and engineering, ensures QMS compliance, and mentors personnel. Candidates need ship habitation systems expertise, naval or marine manufacturing and installation experience, drawing interpretation skills, knowledge of classification rules and defence standards, ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency, and BPSS clearance.

Manage procurement of materials, equipment, components, and services for shipbuilding projects. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, control costs, mitigate supply chain risks, process purchase orders, track deliveries, and monitor inventory. Collaborate with project, engineering, and production teams to forecast needs, ensure compliance, review supplier performance, and identify savings. The role may also involve mentoring Buyers and supporting procurement process improvements.

Lead and mature a multi-site Project Controls function delivering integrated cost, schedule, risk, EVMS and change control. Establish governance, produce executive reporting, manage forecasts/EACs, embed risk management and drive digital improvement across shipyards and delivery partners.

Perform manual and machine steel fabrication and assembly for naval, marine and repair projects. Read drawings, set-out, cut and fabricate plate and profiles, erect and tack assemblies, operate fabrication machinery and shop cranes, and follow safety and quality procedures.

Lead and manage the shipyard Electrical area, supporting the Electrical Manager on resource, budget, schedule and quality control. Provide technical support for electrical design, fabrication and installation in naval/marine projects, ensure HSE and QMS compliance, coordinate subcontractors, and drive continuous improvement and training.
